class='epvc-label'> Views<\/span><\/div>\n<p>Lahore: According to the official Facebook page of the Lahore Development Authority,  LDA (Lahore Development Authority) has given a buyers\u2019 checklist for those who are interested in purchasing or investing in real estate in private housing projects of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the department, the purpose of the directory is to prevent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sirmaya.com\/blog\/plots-for-sale-beware-you-need-to-avoid-frauds-when-buying-property\/\">real estate frauds<\/a>, which includes attracting citizens to invest in forged projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><em>Checklist<\/em><em><\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Check the list below when buying a property in any private scheme to avoid real estate frauds<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Certified map \/ schematic diagram <\/strong><strong>of the concerned <\/strong><strong>housing <\/strong><strong>scheme<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>A list of all land<\/strong><strong>s<\/strong><strong> in the corresponding scheme and a list of lan<\/strong><strong>ds<\/strong><strong> classified by size and type.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>The <\/strong><strong>one who is investing<\/strong><strong> should <\/strong><strong>see<\/strong><strong> if the property he <\/strong><strong>wants<\/strong><strong> to purchase is included in the approved housing plan<\/strong><strong> map<\/strong><strong> and if it is on the acquired land.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>The investor <\/strong><strong>must<\/strong><strong> check if the <\/strong><strong>property<\/strong><strong> of his choice has been pledged to the LDA \/ other appropriate development agency.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>On the land designated for public facilities (school, medical center, cemetery, community center, etc.), there are no land plots <\/strong><strong>allocated fully or partially for that.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Make sure the <\/strong><strong>project<\/strong><strong> includes the amenities accepted in the approved<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>plan.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Ensure that<\/strong><strong> the project has not been reviewed by the NAB or any other department.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, if someone wants to check the status of the housing scheme approval to avoid real estate frauds, they can call at 22 &#8211; LDA One Window Cell counter from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm or visit the official <a href=\"https:\/\/lda.gop.pk\/\">LDA website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Government authorities have called for detailed
