{"id":1216,"date":"2020-12-02T10:37:56","date_gmt":"2020-12-02T10:37:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sirmaya.com\/blog\/?p=1216"},"modified":"2020-12-02T10:37:57","modified_gmt":"2020-12-02T10:37:57","slug":"gwadar-eastbay-expressway-project-to-be-completed-in-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sirmaya.com\/blog\/gwadar-eastbay-expressway-project-to-be-completed-in-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Gwadar Eastbay Expressway project to be completed in 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='epvc-post-count'><span class='epvc-eye'><\/span>  <span class=\"epvc-count\"> 1,864<\/span><span class='epvc-label'> Views<\/span><\/div>\n<p>GWADAR: Zhang Baozhong &#8211; Chairman of the China Overseas Ports Holding Company, announced during a joint working Gawadar group that the development work on Eastbay Expressway will be completed in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the project is completed, it will connect the port to the second phase of the FTZ (Free Trade Zone).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project was intended to help businesses\/companies by promoting transshipment trade and reducing logistics costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Satisfaction over the project&#8217;s operationalizing progress is expressed in the meeting co-chaired by the Ying Xiong \u2013 Director-General of (NDRC) National Reform and Development Commission and Mathar Niaz Rana \u2013 Secretary of the Ministry of Planning, Development, &amp; Special Initiatives. They further discussed the investment opportunities and port development, which include the Gwadar related projects like the M-8 motorway to provide road connectivity and the New Gwadar International Airport to provide seamless air connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The China-Pakistan Friendship Hospital and Vocational Institute in Gwadar are committed to providing medical facilities for living in and around Gwadar.
