A senior district administration official said that the acquisition of land for the project is ongoing and that the relevant authorities have begun the process of payments to private sector landowners. He confirmed that the land ransom would end soon. It turned out that the contractor company will begin working on the diversion (flushing pipe) and water conduit at the opening stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dam will be built on the Sawan\/Soan River, and rainwater from the Murree and Kahuta hills will be kept in a lake on Kahuta Street in the village of Daducha. The water inflow to the dam will be 77,000 cusecs, and the estimated flow will be 42,000 cusecs.
