class='epvc-label'> Views<\/span><\/div>\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> Given the success of PM Imran Khan&#8217;s plan for a tax amnesty for the construction sector, the federal government is considering extending the scheme for a period of three to six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It turned out that the FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) was instructed by the Prime Minister&#8217;s office to prepare a draft presidential decree to expand the amnesty tax system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the deadline, the scheme will expire on December 31, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To boost construction, the authorities have registered over 350 projects under the scheme with an estimated cost of Rs 140 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, the final decision will be made if the IMF (International Monetary
