Islamabad: Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has put forward a demand for a separate power distribution setup for Gwadar. He further stated that a similar setup for the districts of Lasbela, Chaghi, and Awaran is also mandatory.
As Balochistan is Pakistan’s largest province in terms of area, it must have an improved power distribution system, Federal Minister for Power Division Omar Ayub Khan, Sanjrani highlighted in a meeting with the Federal Minister. He said that new solar and renewable energy projects can fulfill the electricity needs of the entire province.
