FBR Has Issued Revised Property Rates in Lahore

The FBR has released updated rates in Lahore and other cities on Thursday 3 March 2022. As per the statement the real estate prices have now roughly doubled for many regions of the city. Many additional places have been put on the listing too. The revised Lahore property tariffs came into operation promptly.

Officials from the Federal Board of Revenue think that, despite the lower adjustment in price for some cities, like Lahore and Islamabad, the revised prices are still higher than in 2019, when the prices changed lastly.

The revised valuation of immovable housing and business estates in multiple areas of Lahore is calculated by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Estimated Income Tax:

It is worth noting that, under the revised prices, a filer will incur an income tax of Rs. 150,000 for a 10-marla private housing plot. On the other hand, a non-filer will incur an income tax of Rs. 300,000. The tax rate on the commercial properties will be Rs. 400,000 for filers and Rs. 800,000 for non-filers.
