Businessmen working in the real estate sector in Peshawar have advised the provincial government to announce a relief package of special tax and finance. They believe the sector has been hit by a long period of lockdown due to COVID19.

This request was submitted by the head of the Commercial Services and Real Estate Business Forum, Haji Rahmat Ali, as well as other officials from the Forum office with the President of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Engineer Maksood Anwar Parvez.

The meeting was also attended by officials of the Business Forum Imad Hussein Hashmi, Sheikh Abdul Rahman, Abid khan, Sultan Gul, Faizyab Avan, Iftikhar Khan, Iqbal Siddiq, and Shah Bur Salam.

In addition, he briefed the meeting on how the real estate sector is rapidly reversing the slowdown in government and agency growth in addressing sector-related challenges.

At the meeting, it was said that the ban was imposed on the transfer of ownership and inheritance, as well as the issue of a number and a new record during the long period of closure of the Coronavirus, which led to the appeal of a large number of people associated with the unemployed sector.

Realtors have demanded that the provincial government take measures to develop or revive the construction industry.
