KARACHI: Pakistan shows a current account surplus for the fifth consecutive month, with a $447 billion surplus in November.

The current account reached $ 1.64 billion in the current fiscal year 2021.

The State Bank of Pakistan pointed to an improvement in the trade balance and an increase in monetary reversals for the recorded surplus.

Pakistan also recorded an inflow of remittances of $ 200 million worth via Roshan Digital Accounts.
